Training and network events
We arrange regular fuel poverty and health networking events, training and development opportunities for staff and volunteers in East Sussex.
Practitioners’ fuel poverty forum
The East Sussex Fuel Poverty Coordinator arranges a fuel poverty forum where practitioners can hear about the latest developments and services to help prevent people from living in a cold home in East Sussex. If you would like to be added to the email distribution list to receive newsletters and updates please contact the fuel poverty coordinator.
Fuel poverty and health training
Free scheduled training sessions are listed on our Eventbrite page when available.
The East Sussex Fuel Poverty Coordinator is also able to offer free bespoke training or information sessions for volunteers and frontline staff. The sessions can be tailored to suit the awareness levels of your teams and adapted for the time you have available.
In a one hour session this will include a background on fuel poverty, identification and referral, and full details of local fuel poverty reduction related services and support. This training will work towards equipping your teams to provide help to households in difficulties during their activities to reduce fuel poverty.
If you are interested in free bespoke training, please contact the fuel poverty coordinator.
