The national Money Advice Service has been set up by government and provides free and impartial money advice. They offer:

  • Advice and guides to help improve your finances
  • Tools and calculators to help keep track and plan ahead
  • Support over the phone and online.

If you need help and advice with a benefits issue, contact the East Sussex welfare benefits helpline:

Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

03 calls cost no more than national rate calls to 01 or 02 numbers and count towards inclusive minutes on mobile and landline packages.


Local Citizens Advice services can also offer help with financial problems such as debt, benefits queries and assist with applications for grants.
