East Sussex welfare benefits helplines

There are two main services in East Sussex offering advice and support with welfare and benefits questions.

For help and advice with a benefits issue within the Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) area or the Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford CCG area call or email:

    • 0333 344 0681
    • benefitseastsussex@harcuk.com

For those living within the High Weald, Lewes and Havens CCG area, call or email the Citizens Advice Bureau:

    • 0344 111 444
    • info@harcuk.com

Lines open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Calls to a number starting with ’03’ cost no more than national rate calls to ’01’ or ’02’ numbers and count towards inclusive minutes on mobile and landline packages.

If you are unsure about which CCG area you live within, you can use this postcode search tool to check which is your CCG.

Local Citizens Advice services can also offer help with financial problems such as debt, benefits queries and assist with applications for grants.
